St Louis Basketball Academy 1995-present:

The St. Louis Basketball Academy is considered the premier basketball training center serving a metropolitan area of 3.5 million residences.

We provide training for 300 plus basketball players in a year round basis with our clientele ranging from youth ages 7 years old to professional athletes competing for positioning within the NBA and international pro leagues around the globe.

This range of caliber of skill and age is the real strength of our academy as our mission is about taking each and every aspiring player to the next level that they are seeking to compete at.

This such concept is ongoing and gives each and every member of our staff a true duty each day to develop and accomplish goals laid out in congruence with our clientele.

Dennis Beckett

Director / Owner

Dennis Beckett has been coaching professionally for over thirty years after a collegiate playing career at Maryville University – an NCAA Division III school.

Beckett holds five school records in basketball including most assists in game, season, and career, along with consecutive free throws made and season percentage inducted into the school’s sports hall of fame as a player in 1985.
Mr. Beckett’s professional career includes seven years as a high school head and assistant coach at the most prestigious schools academically and athletically within the St Louis area. Collegiate and professional are as follows:

Creating and developing youth exchange programs within these countries that involved travel and competition resulted with subsequent successful scholarship opportunities for numerous participants.
